O Estado de São Paulo is one of Brazil's most-read newspapers. Every day Paulistas (and everyone else no doubt) read up on the weekly scandals and corruption when it comes to their politicians who embezzle or steal millions of dollars. How much is does that money cost Brazil? Estadão Digital created Corruption Converter to show everyone. The tool automatically converts the amounts reported in articles about corruption into hard numbers, such as how much that money would provide for ambulances, vaccines, school meals or medication. Incredibly sad, but incredibly effective, too.
