A young figure skater perform to thunderous applause and a proud father watching, but it's clear from the start that she is missing someone as there is an empty seat. Her father then drives her up to a mountain home, where we see who couldn't attend at the ice rink - her ailing grandfather in a wheelchair. Her father connects the car to lights, and a pond in the yard now serves as her stage. Her grandfather scores her performance a perfect ten.
The commercial features a real figure skater named Abigail, who attends a performing arts school in Toronto. The skating routine was choreographed by Elizabeth Putnam, a former competitive figure skater from Canada.
