State Farm "This is a Nightmare!" :30 (USA)

Continuing State Farm's "Right Kind of Magic" campaign–the brand’s biggest 360 campaign launch in three years-- comes this highly entertaining spot featuring a couple, a tree, and a nightmare creature who dismisses their nightmare as being an easily remedied situation. How? By singing the State Farm jingle, of course.

I really like the nightmare creature. Goes from screaming a demonic "Do it" to conducting the couple as they sing-- in fear. Good stuff. But also subtly strategic too, in the sense that it suggests a State Farm representative will show up in as little time it takes to sing "Like a Good neighbor, State Farm is there."

See kids, you don't always have to beat someone over the head with an RTB.

This is driving me nuts! Who is the voice of the nightmare?

Anonymous Adgrunt's picture

Me, too. My guess is Ellen DeGeneris.

Anonymous Adgrunt's picture

This is what I have been thinking also.

Kynitengale 's picture

Agreed....I racked my brain because I recognized the voice....that is who I thought of was Ellen Degeneris.

Sounds like Eden sher to me

Yeah, Ellen has been my guess, too

I thought it was Ellen, as well. That’s why I looked it up. It’s Eden Sher.
