Kelliher Samets Volk break out the speech bubble for Unicel

Burlington, Vermont agency Kelliher Samets Volk recently launched a series of commercials for wireless provider Unicel with the help of Backyard Productions' director Ericson Core (who also serves as his own DP), a52 and Beast Editorial's editor Igor Kovalik. In the spots a free-roaming balloon wanders through urban and rural landscapes, and apparently "visually driving home the campaign's tagline of 'Unicel: The way wireless should be.'"

52's Andy Hall served as the project's VFX and 3D supervisor.
Andy's CGI team created the photo-real, semi-translucent balloon, which appears in all shots, and Discreet Flame artist Kirk Balden handled the seamless compositing.
