Inter-LGBT - The Obstacle Course (2016) :60 (France)

In a dizzying first person point of view, we run from schools, into shared sleeping halls, to parties, to falling into waters. It's like a long game of "the floor is lava", while people yell at us, stare at us, awkwardly look away when we play spin the bottle, laugh at us. It's quite nicely done, but in the end, it's not very clear what this has to do with gay and Lesbian rights. You do know that many of us grow up feeling exactly like this, non? This seems to be anti-bullying, more than anything else. I really like some of the surreal details, like the disapproving parents sitting in a kitchen where it rains, on a floor of mud.

TBWA\PARIS says:

It takes time to change society. Time for age-old convictions to be shaken and finally crumble. Time for deeply ingrained fears handed down through generations to sputter out and finally die. How many people have been ignored, rejected, ostracized from society, how many have died for being right before their time?
With the approach of the Pride Marches organized across France starting in June, Inter-LGBT wanted to send a strong reminder that human rights are not negotiable and that we will continue making headway in that direction.
