Heineken's "Meet You There" poster campaign by Strawberry Frog harkens back to the days of the illustrated poster, but with a modern feel. The ads were conceived as giant illustrations for the sides of buildings, reminiscent of 19th century beer advertising.

I love the look of these. They do look like old posters with a fresh twist. Retro-cool. Great illustrations.

Permalinkthe designer they obivously hired or completely and shamelessly copied is a local Amsterdam designer called Parra. Very recognisable style. Makes t-shirts as well under name of Rockwell Clothing.
