Fred and Farid leave Marcel, start FFL

By now you must have heard that Fred and Farid are ditching their publicis group backed baby Marcel and poaching Christophe Lambert, most recently president of Publicis Conseil to start a new agency called Fred Farid Lambert, a.k.a FFL. The hop scotch duo have toured the best creative agencies of the world, landing back home with Marcel set to put Paris on the creative map. Now this - what happened?

The Independant

But Fred/Farid/ Lambert is not exactly an independent start-up. Step forward Vincent Bolloré, Lévy's rival for the title of France's No.1 adman, and the boss of Havas. Bolloré is backing the new venture, taking a 30 per cent stake, and delivering a very public two fingers to his Publicis rival.

Lets hope this match made in heaven lasts.
