They're baaack... Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, and Naomi Campbell show that despite years gone by and babies had, they are still fit, leggy as all get out and can strike a pose like no other. There's a reason these ladies were in the super model posse in the 90s, they know their angles. I'd be super excited if the queen of transforming fashion and every haircolour known to man, Linda Evangelista, was with them, but I'll take the top three ladies too. French fashion designer Olivier Rousteing called on his childhood muses to star in the spring 2016 Balmain campaign, shot by Steven Klein.
"Those four singular talents have inspired me from day one," Olivier Rousteing explains. "When I was a schoolboy in Bordeaux, it was their editorials that first made clear to me the amazing transformative power of fashion. Still today, many years on, their iconic images are often found amongst the jumble on mood boards in my (and almost every other designer's) atelier. To say that working with them was a dream come true is no exaggeration."
"There was never any doubt that the final images would be anything but perfect," Rousteing says. "Looking at them now, I like to think that perhaps someday these shots might also form part of some future designer's mood board."
Loving the geometric patterns, the layered shapes, the stark black and white, and of course the angled poses struck by the timeless talents who reigned the 90s catwalks and practically made the term "supermodel". I love when they come back to show off together, should happen more often, why the last time we saw Super models like Naomi get together with other big names was in 93, when Vauxhall made the top ten super model girls of the day jealous.
