" Aerovac" is the latest the spot for the US Air Force via GSD&M Idea City, directed by MJZ'z Phil Joanou, with visual effects by MassMarket and edited by Paul Martinez, Arcade Edit.
The spot, set in a post disaster metropolis of the future, follows airmen on their mission to rescue a group of local citizens from certain destruction at the precipice of a collapsing bridge. MassMarket created the post disaster environment from plates of downtown LA including the full CG destruction of the 6th street bridge downtown. To take the viewer from the world of science fiction to the present day they worked with MJZ director Phil Joanou and GSD&M Idea City to design a futuristic fleet of rescue aircraft. The aircraft then transforms into the modern day C17 in the dramatic climax to this hero's tale.
