British Airways has created a brand new online campaign. The campaign is composed of a micro-site which comes in both a flash and HTML version. The site has a zoom focus, whereby images are taken at (384x384), downscaled to 256 x 256, and then converted to a fixed 256 colour palette. The levels of zooming are as follows:
1. Zoomed out- 384 x 384
2. Zoom 1 - 64 x 64 (6px x 6px images)
3. Zoom 2 - 16 x 16 (24 x 24px images
4. Zoom 3 - 4 x 4 (96 x 96px images)
After you click on an image in the last zoom level it becomes the next zoomed out image and loads in that images data. Go to http://www.upgradetobritishairways.ba.com/ to see all this for yourself
How hysterical. It's the dream of all teenagers to receive a car when they can finally drive.I'd hate to hear that girl scream when her parents tell her that she's driving a rental car...

PermalinkBrilliant - if a tad annoying. Now he has to tell her it's just a rental...so the next spot in the campaign shows the girl kicking dad in the nuts. :O
