People calling the salvation army have instead been connected to a sexline called "Intimate Connections" according to ananova. .
There is a joke in that, I'm sure.
Salvation Army callers are connected to sex line
People trying to telephone the Salvation Army in a Virginia town have been put through to a sex line.
An error in the Yellow Pages has caused the problem in Hampton Roads.
Callers dialling the number are connected to Intimate Connections, a phone-sex line charging up to £2 per minute.
Yellow Pages spokeswoman Elizabeth Tusing says a Salvation Army official saw a proof of the advert before it went to press and signed for it.
Major Michael Waters, from the Salvation Army, says it will try to buy the number from the phone-sex company, but says it is highly unlikely it will succeed.
