The first of three TV commercials for the Racing Post, ‘Lederhosen’ breaks this weekend for the Grand National and will run throughout the year.
The campaign features the Racing Post App and launches the new ‘Your Bets Mate’ positioning, aimed at introducing Racing Post to a younger audience of 25-35 year olds. The 30 second commercial dramatises how easy the Racing Post App makes it to find a good horse and make a bet.
Directed by Tom King from Gas & Electric, the cleverly constructed ads use classic scenes from the Getty Library, inter-cut with scenes shot to closely (but not too closely) mimic the library footage.
