Paul Arden is doing a Madonna - he got himself a book deal. [if you hadn't heard - Madonna has written five childrens books].
The former Art Director turned executive creative director at Saatchi, then director with many ad films shown worldwide, and now he is an author as well. You might remember Paul's film " the Man Who Couldn't Open Doors" a surreal parable on what it is to be different, shown in Cannes 1998.
The book is on a subject mr Arden seems to know something about - how to succeed in the world. The book is even cockily subtitled "The World's Best Selling Book".
The publishers say the book is "a pocket 'bible' for the talented and timid to make the unthinkable thinkable and the impossible possible."
Nick Sutherland-Dodd - Paul Ardens producer - emphasized that although Arden has already been signed up for a second book through Phaidon, he remains available for the routine direction of television commercials.
Want Arden? He's repped in Denmark by Blarke Sonne Levring and in the UK by Arden Sutherland-Dodd who seem to lack a website.
Paul Arden's book will be available in May this year.
