After the successful launch of Xbox Live Sessions last week with DJ Khaled, the next featured guest to join the new interactive, livestream show on the Mixer Xbox Channel is star of the new NBC show Marlon, Marlon Wayans.
At 6:00 p.m. PDT on Wednesday September 6, Wayans will play which launches that same day. Prizes to be given away throughout the session, all while he talks about the new show, other projects he is working on, his propensity for gaming and answers questions live from fans.
I hope some of those questions are "Why did we pay so much for the same damn grind game, and how many more times will Bungie/Activision nickel and dime us with micro-transactions?" Dumb game or not, it's a neat idea using star power to interact with the community in an attempt to bolster sales among more casual gamers as Destiny was definitely for core only. Not sure about you but after playing for a while I realized I didn't have six-hour blocks of time to set aside just to get a special engram or rifle.
Anyway, if the Xbox Live Sessions continue to be a hit, you can look out for more announcements with more athletes, actors and musical talent, too.
