LOS ANGELES, October 3, 2023 - Invisible Collective hires barrier-breaking producer Corina Conti and signs an array of renowned Hispanic talent, aiming to better serve one of the largest populations in the world and expand its mission of diversity and inclusion.
The innovative production company has added several groundbreaking Hispanic directors to its roster, authentically connected to global Spanish-speaking markets within the US, Europe, Argentina, and Mexico. The first is none other than Pucho, whose work with brands like Coca-Cola, Mastercard, YPF, and Santander has earned him six Cannes Lions and five Gold Clios. "As soon as I learned about Invisible, I knew they were the right fit. They take a different approach and do honest, meaningful work," said Pucho. "Being part of their tight-knit artist collective means a lot to me, and I'm eager to collaborate with like-minded people."
As Executive Producer, Argentina-born powerhouse Corina Conti, who's spent more than 30 years blazing trails for US Hispanic creatives, will oversee the newly-signed talent. Conti's resume includes famous production companies such as Propaganda, Palomar, RSA, Smuggler, Goodgate and Anonymous Content. During her time with these companies, she collaborated with prominent directors like Jake Scott, Antoine Fuqua, David Fincher, and Spike Jonze. She worked on numerous global campaigns for brands like Amex, ESPN, Nike, Citibank, Subway and Armani.
At Palomar, she discovered, launched and supported numerous remarkable Hispanic directors, including Pucho, but also Armando Bo, Rodrigo Prieto, and Pep Bosch, just to name a few. Her impact didn't stop there; Conti was then an agency producer at Fallon and the renowned multicultural agency The Community.
While at "La Comu," Conti secured the Latin American creative agency a significant job with Citibank. "There was an untapped market in the millions of Latin Americans living in the US, who were craving more than what they were getting," said Conti, "I recognized a profound need for better marketing with high-quality campaign work."
Directed by Jake Scott, the costly campaign can be considered one of the first advertisements geared toward a previously disparate Hispanic market to be directed by an award-winning mainstream market director.
Conti also played a crucial role in propelling the company Goodgate to the forefront of the global production industry. As the company's Producer and Sales Representative under founder Philip Bolus for just under a decade, she helped cement its position as one of the top production services companies in the world.
Having worked alongside Managing Director Tracie Norfleet several times during Norfleet's time at RSA, Conti was introduced to Invisible Collective. Immediately taken by their mission, the caliber of directors, and the variety of work they produce, she decided to pitch herself for the new role.
"Corina has a keen eye for discovering new talent, especially directors who are below the radar and haven't hit yet. She's so incredibly well-connected and loved," said Norfleet. "She brings unmatched passion and creative power; we're thrilled to have her on our team.”
Thoughtfully hand-picked by Conti, the new Hispanic directors on Invisible's roster include:
Helping the Invisible team secure creative projects within the global Spanish-speaking market is the reputable Isabel Echeverry, founder of the sales representation firm Kontakto Reps. Kindred business spirits, Echeverry is widely known for Kontakto’s sharp roster of clients and for having a knack for developing emerging diverse talent.
"I'm incredibly excited to represent the talented and diverse directors on Invisible's roster," said Echeverry. They've already proven their exceptional skills and perfectly embody the new generation of directorial talent today. It will be so rewarding to help secure strong creative projects they're worthy of."
Conti shares Echeverry's excitement; she looks forward to supporting Invisible Collective's overall mission and nourishing her relationships with the new Hispanic talent. "Invisible is doing something that no company has ever done before. My goal is to help agencies understand what we have to offer and for all our directors to work steadily worldwide," said Conti. "The diversity of our creatives and the versatility and skill we bring to the industry make Invisible Collective groundbreaking and impactful. The recently signed filmmakers are just another shining example of those qualities."
