The Radio 538 ad campaign that nods to porn has caused such upset in some areas of the Netherlands that INDIE Amsterdam has changed their front page to make it abundantly clear they had nothing to do with this ad campaign. Roughly translated their statement reads:
Recently, a new bus shelter campaign for Radio 538 began. It's visually arresting and with an edge. Because we have worked on the strategic foundation of the "Beat of the Moment" campaign on Radio 538, one easily draws the conclusion that INDIE is responsible for this bus shelter campaign. This is evident in the emotional responses that are being sent to our office.
A campaign with an edge always makes something loose. The fair to say INDIE was not involved in the bus shelter campaign. We therefore ask everyone to share any comments they may have on it directly with Radio 538.
So there you have it. Indie Amsterdam had nothing to do with this ad. Adland never wrote that they did either, because we knew that, but other ad sites out there may have published this misinformation.
