It's fashion week and Hugo Boss invites us via Marco Brambilla to a magical forest, built once upon a dream where our model Suvi Koponen is surrounded by herself, walking between the trees in a forest. Eventually dancing with herself as if she and trees are part of a zoetrope surrounding her in a spinning moment of utter fashion. It's as beautiful as it is hypnotizing.
Marco Brambilla also gave us Kanye's Power, that heaven and hell elevator, the Ntropic VFX video installation Megaplex, and the dystopia in Take2 spec ops as the desert engulfed Dubai, so he has a few years of experience painting with footage and VFX. Jason Wu , Creative director at Hugo Boss, collaborated with Marco to create this artpiece that screened during the Hugo Boss Spring/Summer 2015 runway show at New York Fashion Week in the World Trade Center.
Jason Wu explains: "I wanted to present a completely different take on BOSS. This film expresses a marriage of nature and technology, classical versus hi-tech." Marco Brambilla described it as "It's a visual poem that takes you on a journey through nature, psychologically and visually, and brings you back to the real world."
