Remember when Honey Maid the this is wholesome ad with families in it? Well, one million moms, who I am pretty sure is just ten annoyed ladies, claimed the ad offended conservatives and demanded that Nabisco "pull this liberal commercial immediately and remain neutral in the culture war". Oh yes.
Nabisco's response?
"We made a commercial about what makes families, family. And we received a lot of comments. This is what we did with them."
Check mate. Now... I think Edward Boches has a point when he says "This was a story because the press made it a story." about the "racist" Coke super bowl commercial. In most cases the complainers don't amount to much. In this case I love the response though.
