Head and Shoulders - Bromance / 'Winter Rescue' (2021) :60 (Japan)

This is an over-the-top spy animation depicting a bromance between the master spy and his student. As they are on a mission to steal something, the master's dandruff sets off the laser alarm. The student promises to come back for him, and he does. I thought this was great, very amusing as a romantic song plays when they jump through laser lights in graceful slow-motion. What an epic bromance.
“Don’t let dandruff get in the way” is the action-oriented message. 
The Japanese market is still underdeveloped in terms of anti-dandruff solutions, and very few men dare speak of their scalp issues openly. This campaign dramatises the stigma around male dandruff in an unexpected way by tapping into the popular anime context. The 2.5D animation style used to create the film gives it an extra layer of humour and realism, and most importantly, it’s ignited a conversation that is often considered a taboo by men suffering dandruff. stunning story set across the world following Ando the spy for Head & Shoulders in Japan.
In this second film with Ando the spy for Head & Shoulders by CRCR, we journey to a winter in Ando’s past to meet Jiro - his charismatic and close mentor - and learn of the traumatic event that pulled the two apart.
