Grow Interactive launches Paloozahead

Coinciding with the unveiling with the 2007 Lollapalooza lineup last week, Grow Interactive, a Norfolk, VA design and interactive agency, launched PaloozaHead -- a music-based, mash-up game where fans can create a performer or become one themselves. There are lots of parts to choose from including rock star heads, stereotypical body parts, and moves like The Gibson Getdown and Keytar Star.

Last but not least, visitors select a song for their performance, choosing from over 75 available tracks from the 2007 Lollapalooza lineup. After hitting the stage and rocking out, visitors are encouraged to share their performance on their website or MySpace by copying an embed code.

"Lollapalooza is such a unique festival, so we wanted to create a unique marketing vehicle to help release the 2007 lineup," said Kevin Brown, Interactive Marketing Manager at C3 Presents. "The festival is literally a hodge-podge of sights and sounds from all different spectrums and fans choose from countless options to mash-up their weekend experience. So the PaloozaHead project easily reinforces the idea that in one festival weekend with nine stages and 130 bands, the possibilities are endless."
