Deezer "Live the Music." (2023) (France)

Deezer has launched a new brand campaign in France, created in collaboration with ad agency BETC Paris. The campaign aims to bring Deezer's new brand signature, "Live the Music," to life. The campaign includes a film directed by Brazilian director Nogari from Iconoclast.

In the film, a group of amateur ballet dancers are shown in their weekly class. When a passerby outside the class accidentally connects her Deezer app to the ballet studio instead of her wireless headphones, the upbeat music she was playing throws the dancers into a frenzy, resulting in a quirky and liberating dance.

The campaign aims to capture the spirit at the core of Deezer’s beliefs, as expressed by Maria Garrido, CMO of Deezer: “Music is a human experience that is meant to be felt, shared and lived.”

Deezer aims to offer users a richer music experience beyond streaming. The app now features immersive and seamless experiences such as Shaker, a social music feature that allows friends to create a playlist of 70 songs, regardless of their streaming platform. Other features include HiFi audio, exclusive artist sessions, the AI-generated infinite mix Flow, music quizzes, lyrics translation, and concert suggestions based on preferences and location.

Deezer's new brand identity, designed by Koto, has been deployed through a new in-app immersive experience. The ad is supported by two infectious tracks: "Kitipo" by Dixson Waz x La Tukiti (feat Amenazandel) and "Boom Shaka" by Muzi, highlighting Deezer’s commitment to supporting emerging talents worldwide.

The campaign will be broadcast on television in France and Brazil and online globally.
