From V2's Sloane Klevin:
The cool thing about this spot for me was that the client let Drew be Drew. Her tattoos are showing, she’s sticking out her tongue; I was able to use her being goofy, sassy, just being herself. The process was definitely different than many beauty spots I've worked on in the past. When the agency came in to check out the first pass, I asked if they thought it was going to fly with the client...and was surprised when they were like, "We love it!"Peggy shot a lot of extra footage. I felt like there was so much good stuff that wasn’t really in the board, so I cut a couple of extra spots that became Drew image brand spots. We did this "Teaser" spot just to amuse myself and Peggy, and the client bought it.
Drew had at least one comment for each spot, but her comments were little about the visual presentation, and more about logic and content that ended up making the spots that much better.
