It sounds quite cheeky to sing "Shprinck your mother" to the tune of Allan Sherman's song "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah / A letter from camp" (which was re-written in Swedish 1965 by Cornelis Vreeswijk as "Brev från Kolonien"). It works quite well, as everyone knows the tune by now, and it's quite cute-funny. Some lines sound a bit like innuendo, others are sweet revelations for that lonely guy on the bleachers who learns they now have the title boyfriend. Most of the shprinck-ing happens in high school, which is exactly the target of people would like to shprinck things. You see, shprinck is a portmanteau of "shoot + print + stick", you can take pictures, print pictures and sticker the pictures to anything and your little dog too. I would have enjoyed the heck out of this camera-toy in junior high, so I think they have identified the correct market. Go on kids, Shprinck the World. Shprinck your mother, shprinck your father, shprinck everyone.
We haven't seen ths song used in ad since... well since that golden retriever puppy sang it in 2004.
