Apple "Intelligence: More personal Siri" (USA) :30

In this spot touting iPhone's Apple 16 AI capability, a woman asks Siri, to remember a name for her. Siri then pulls up her calendar invite. Which she could have easily done, since she knows when it was: a couple of months ago.

Then she proceeds to lie to the guy's face, pretending she knew all along who he was.

The meeting was for a "production catch up."

Presumably they were...producing something. But I guess the job got put on hold?

It says a lot that Apple thinks knowing more about your life than you do is a great selling point.

This makes me want a dumb phone.

The casting here is bizarre. It's off in a way that I can't quite put my finger on.
