Brandchannel's annual Readers' Choice Awards opened voting yesterday and will run through December 31st. Brandchannel sees the survey as a chance to recognize the brands that had the largest impacts, not just the largest profits.
To vote, just select up to five brands per region that had the most impact on them in 2006; impact can be positive or negative. A shortlist of brands for each region is provided but readers are given the choice to write in a vote if they do not see their brand on the list. Brands new to the shortlist include Paris Hilton, Bank of China, Gome, Louis Vuitton, Manchester United Football Club, Myspace, Project Red, World Wrestling Entertainment, YouTube.
