Chaos versus organized... These two ads looks very similar....
Kolle Rebbe (Gemany) won a gold Clio and a gold in German ADC for their Bisley Office Furniture campaign this year. Tag "Perfectly Organised". There's a Swiss campaign from 1989 that's based on the same idea. Tag "Everything in it's place". The client is Krause.

I'd say the Bisley campaign is better campaign... And the idea seems different, too. With the Ring Binder ad, it seems the idea is more about bringing order out of the chaos, whereas the Bisley campaign is simply about organizing stuff...that isn't necessarily chaotic.
But yes: executionally, they're similar.

PermalinkI agree that the idea in the binder ad is a little different, and I think it works really well for the binder ad. It''s funny how even when the base-idea can differ but the executions are so close. :)
