After launching a campaign for an unavailable product, La Vie™ is finally coming to the UK.

When the city of Haarlem banned meat ads, La Vie was there to show off their bacon. Meanwhile over in the UK,  La Vie™ went on a teasing campaign spree announcing the product that was not yet available in the UK.

"The best tasting plant-based bacon in Britain isn't available in Britain. French exporting at its best."

With a tone of self-deprecation, and piquant catchphrases, tinged with the quirky and well-known french English humor, La Vie™ teased their friends across the channel with their tasty, but not yet available, bacon. 

"Literally no one: Let's advertise plant-based bacon that's not available to buy. The French: La Vie!"

After a couple of weeks of teasing, the bacon arrived in the UK.  Since 19th September, the British will now be enjoying it at breakfast!

The campaign was first launched with a spread in The Guardian on September 3. It was complemented by 5 OOH visible in the UK from 6th September and was supported by a social media component. The second phase began on September 20 with a series of 3 billboards broadcast on social media.
