Damian Lillard scribbles stuff in this spot while a headline ominously asks "Who runs the runway?" That's quite the dose of paranoia for this short spot. If they are trying to be rebellious by suggesting the rules of fashion have changed, it's still a celebrity-driven spot, so, nope. Then again this is the same brand that last year, sold adidas Superstars by placing superstars in their advertising and then declaring "I'm not a superstar." Unfortunately when you are adidas and you've signed these superstars to a contract, you have to get your money's worth. adidas has always had authenticity at its core-- it wasn't long ago that the Originals brand had "celebrate authenticity," as its tagline. But there really isn't much authenticity here. It's just a fashion shoot with scribbles.
