Visit Seattle "Touch" (2017) 4:54 (USA)

This is one of five shorts for Visit Seattle that appeared on Sundance TV as part of their Five By Five Project. Directed by Ian Cheney, this explores the relationship people have to the surrounding forest and the myriad things that are created out of the lumber. From wood carvings to totems to furniture and more. It's a great unconventional way to showcase a city. Rather than focusing on the usual sights, this film focuses on the creativity of the people who live there and their relationship to the land. It's quietly beautiful.
