As part of its "unfairy tales" campaign, UNICEF tells Malak's story of fleeing Syria by boat in this animated story. Some stories were never meant for children. While the animation is fantastic way to bring that story to life, I like it when they then show young Malak introducing herself at the end to show that this unfairy tale is sadly, a true story.
