timeTO - ‘Where do you draw the line?’ / Christmas party (2022) (UK)

What starts off as a bubbly Christmas party with colleagues sharing a laugh quickly turns uncomfortable as a third colleague arrives. We never see the culprit, as the camera stays on the witness, he who was just laughing with his female co-worker about something. Now he listens to this third person nagging and coercing the female colleague to do a shot and come for a dance, even as she repeatedly protests.  We see red lines appear when our witness should be drawing the line, but he doesn't.

Now it’s crucial that we create more awareness around sexual harassment within the workplace. We’re encouraging witnesses to this unwanted behavior to call it out - either in the moment or at a time afterward when they feel comfortable to and to point out to the harasser that their behavior is inappropriate or offensive. We need to offer support for them to realize that bystanders are enormously important in helping prevent sexual harassment from being seen as acceptable behavior – or being repeated.”
