Oh, hold on, don't be frightened by the 3:30 time on this christmas advert, it's quite a treat. Judith Kerr’s Mog cat gets to parade about a quite stylish house, saving it all from burning down by a series of cat-tastically lucky calls (one literally). Like last years ad, which sold a special chocolate bar, this Sainsbury’s ad is, in the end, about bringing money to charity and sharing the love and help we can during the Christmas season - by selling a Mog book. The ad and Sainsbury’s says "share Christmas" like the people in the advert do, but I'm sure some Guardian writer will find something to object to here, just like they did last year. In partnership with HarperCollins Children’s Books, the ‘Mog’s Christmas Calamity’ book is available at Sainsbury’s for £3, alongside a specially created Mog soft toy for £10. Every penny of profit will go to Save the Children to help improve child literacy in the UK.

Oh! I completely forgot to mention that the cat on the fan thing reminded me of an old Nokia viral.
