Ever go to the museum and offer a giant statue a pack of Rolo and your older brother hides his face in embarrassment even though you're like literally the only person there, but to everyone's surprise except the little brother, the giant statue actual flashes a big old smile? Cuz Rolo is a whole roll of smiles. Dude. I've been there. When the Rolo hits you man, all you can do is leave and not make eye contact with the security guard, otherwise he'll know. Do you understand? He'll know. Not only do I think the 80's must have been an amazing time to work in advertising, but being a jingle writer must have been like being a rock star. "Rollo is a whole world of smiles? Yeah. I wrote that."
Client: Rolo
Principal talent: Clancy Brown (the thinker statue)
I was the older brother in this commercial. It was filmed in the UK for the USA. Great times..
