There's a fragrance.... something something, kinda young kinda now, Charlie, kinda free kinda WOW Charlie I can never remember the lyrics, but these ads with the singer in them and the sophisticated and natural looking beauty was a concept that worked so perfectly for the 70s.
And yes that is Shelley Hack in the role of "Charlie" and the great Bobby Short singing the tune and playing the piano. Hack went on to appear in Charlie's Angels, this may have served as her audition.
