Post-it notes remind you to learn to scuba dive

New media? I never heard of anyone spreading their message via post-it notes before - not quite like this anyway. The nutty agency
Miami in Sweden has created a quirky campaign for Swedens scuba diving org website at the URL which translates to "start diving now", a campaign that is run exclusively on post-it notes.
Hand written post-its remind people to start scuba diving. "We are always looking for new ways of communicating, and to increase traffic to the Scuba Diving website the post-its felt natural and spot on." said Gustav Inger from Miami. The scuba site is also handritten on post-it notes, the idea has grown from there.

The onslaught of post-it notes are spread by diving schools, diving
equipment sellers and the scuba diving organization. On the post-its the hand written message reads "Remember! Take classes and begin scuba diving" and is signed with a link to the Swedens scuba diving org website.

"It's an ideal time to get your divers license in the fall", says Olle
Olsson at PADI a divers organization, "The water is clear and the popular diving spots aren't crowded. Lots of people want to take diving vacations in the late fall and winter, many of these people get their certificates in the fall."

Are these extra-super-sticky post-it notes? I could picture them flying away at the slightest gust of wind if they aren't.

Andreas, the Post it-notes are ordinary 3M, just like the ones you can buy everywhere. They stick actually very good, probably because they are 3M. And I can tell you that at least in Gothenburg has been both windy and rainy the last week.

Really? Well that be a lesson to you Andreas, only use the 3M

From the last week Fausto Bertinotti, leader of the italian communist party Rifondazione Comunista, is promoting his nomination to the primaries for the Unione, the democratic italian party, using viral/guerrilla marketing tecniques. The concept of the campaign is a yellow post-it with the words "I want" and the claim "Attacchiamoli!" (with the double meaning of "attack them" and "stick them"). On the post-it you can write what you want for a better country and spread your claims everywhere. The post-it will be distribuited using volunteers.
