PETA; true to their tasteless sexist form decided to erect a billboard in Nottingham protesting milk. “Some bodily fluids are bad for you. Don't swallow. Ditch Dairy.” the line read, next to an image of a woman whose face and hair had chunks of white stuff sprayed all over it. Yes, it looks like bukkake, and considering the cheeky line, that was the point. Notts County Football Club lodged complaints immediately as they said the billboard is "not in keeping with community and family-focused values." Richard Brown from the Meadows told Nottingham post:
“I’ve got a seven-year-old daughter and young people aren’t stupid, they can read and it’s not great that they can see things like this that are indecent.
I don’t think it helps get the message out. The only thing I get from this is wonder why they thought it was appropriate, not anything about milk.”
Bukkake as a porn-act stems from the mandatory censorship in Japan where genitals must be pixelated, but semen did not, so in the 1980s films showing this act became popular in Japan and has spread throughout the porn industry since - good lord, why do I even know this? Anyway, PETA agreed to remove the ad from Meadow Lane and Iremonger Road in Nottingham. The media belongs to advertising company Space Outdoors who promised: “The agency committed immediately and proactively to change the advert effective Friday December 5.”
PETA Director Mimi Bekhechi, seemingly pleased with the earned media, said: “The billboard is a cheeky way to alert passers-by to the dangers of drinking cows’ milk.” and then launched into a tirade about how dairy products are bad for you. Reportedly, nobody cared.src="adland.tv/etas-top-five-most-offensive-and-most-sexist-ads/1276091868">tasteless sexist form decided to erect a billboard in Nottingham protesting milk. “Some bodily fluids are bad for you. Fuck PETA, bunch of cunts.
Their tactics are always the same:
1) Release shocking advert, designed specifically to offend.
2) People complain.
3) Advert gets taken down almost immediately.
4) Mainstream news outlets report on controversy (which was the whole point).
5) PETA says "But we're just trying to raise awareness!"
6) Loads of free advertising.
You think the media would get sick of being manipulated by these assholes.
Fun fact, PETA puts down more domestic animals than any other ‘humanitarian’ organisation; they actually go out their way to kill cats and dogs. Their reasoning – animals shouldn’t be domesticated in the first place and are better off in 'a state of nature’.
This is what their beloved nature looks like up close: http://youtu.be/so6LSuM3BhI

PermalinkDo they think they are really convincing anybody with these adverts? They are probably only making more people hate them.

PermalinkNaturally I would confront a PETA freak show after 2hrs of reading, watching, listening to art history: David Cronenberg: Virtual Exhibition .
My eyes!
My brain said I was redirected by mistake. P0rn of the jizzy sort on this site? Never as it's likely to attract vice executives from marketing.
