I have no idea why Cyrus the bodega cat is rewarding his owner with a scratch off lottery ticket after the owner has scolded him for being on the counter top but okay. At least it's a cute cat. Also anyone who owns a cat has already wont he lotto, albeit in a neurotic "I love you/Leave me alone," kind of way.

PermalinkThe cat is definitely real, but it looks like they used a little computer enhancement in a couple of shots, like when he "smiles" at the very end and possibly when he lifts his paw to hail the bus.

Permalinkthe best holiday commercial ever! everybody also needs to relax he said goodnight Cyrus. he will see him in the morning bodegas are open everyday even on holidays. but it would have been great to see him take the cat home for christmas. The bodega cat is a staple in new york and very happy to see them get their shine. its december 2022 and i hope this commercial continues to play for the rest of my life during these holidays.
