Michael Phelps loses Kellogg's: "Oh Snap! Crackle! Pop!"

The bong-gate caused by this News Of the world photo has already cost Michael Phelps a sponsorship deal. People magazine has a quote from Kellogg's:

"We originally built the relationship with Michael, as well as the other Olympic athletes, to support our association with the U.S. Olympic team," a company spokeswoman says in a statement. "Michael's most recent behavior is not consistent with the image of Kellogg. His contract expires at the end of February and we have made a decision not to extend his contract."

 
General Mills hasn't commented yet, Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps was featured on a special-edition box of Wheaties - because that's the Breakfast of (Bong) Champions. Sorry.
