Deluxe creative editorial company Beast announces that Melissa Lubin has joined the company as Executive Producer of its New York office. Bringing a decade of deep experience across all facets of production and client services for editorial, sound and graphic design, VFX and finishing, she will lead talent development, build production teams and introduce new clients to Beast’s talent and services.
Lubin joins Beast from Cutting Room, where she spent 11 years and moved up the ranks to Executive Producer, a role she held for six years. There she worked with agencies and production companies including BBDO, McCann, Droga5, Publicis, O Positive, Station Film and more, and was instrumental in expanding the reach of the company’s talent and building its client roster.
“Melissa is incredibly knowledgeable in all areas of commercial production,” said Jed Weintrob, Deluxe’s president of global edit & production. “She’s a great leader and very committed to the trade and the ad community. We’re excited to have someone of her caliber join us to build and nurture top production and editorial talent.”
Lubin said, “Beast is an exciting place. It has the advantages of a strong, local boutique with the ability to tap into the power of Company 3, Method, and the talent at six other Beast offices nationwide. I’m really looking forward to introducing clients to everything we have to offer.”
