The Carlton Draught Big ad which is available at bigad.com.au for your viewing pleasure had to be spoofed sooner or later right? Sooner, rather than later I'd say - and sure enough leave it to the Belgians, who know a thing or ten about beer to do just that. At Smallad.be you can view the small ad.
ps - there's some previous adgrunt chatter about the Big ad here on adland as well.

Permalinkaye, like I said on the Studio Muscle blog (the creators of this spoof): *small golf applause*.

PermalinkA spot that takes the piss out of a spot that takes the piss. What's next? A "Big Small Ad"?

PermalinkIsn't this referencing/commenting one of the prime fundaments the internet has been build upon? Look at the blogosphere with its continuing loop of referencing information...
And besides it's only a small, don't-take-this-too-serious 1 minute movie and it should be regarded just as that, nothing more really :-)

Permalinkplus, it's just downright heroic of you guys to dodge fresh cow-dung in order to bring us a laugh! ;)

Permalinkoh i wasn't insulted :-).
Let's hope someone will write a lengthy pseudo-intelectual analysis of the ad. I defenitely see the obvious freudian references. But as said the main intention was indeed to induce smirks with a bunch of friends.

PermalinkI was most taken with the cow opera that on the same page. Something about it was so funny, I was indeed 'cleft in twain'.
