Yes, my friends - this is the big one. Damn it's beautiful. I have goosebumps.
Inspired by Walter Crane's 1893 painting "Neptune's Horses", we follow a group of scrawny Polynesian surfers who all want to tackle the biggest wave. The big one is their goal. The voice over copy is based on Herman Melville's novel Moby Dick, except for the line "Ahab says, 'I don't care who you are, here's to your dream.'". The abrupt silence in the middle of the film is perfection.
