McCann Worldgroup in New Delhi, India created this campaign for Greenpeace. Each "ying-yang" has been hand illustrated, see the progress photos attached. The images isn't a giant Katamari Damacy ball (remember those videos? , Snowball and Hollywood spheres.) No, instead this is the simple idea of yin & yang, and how our nature yin & yang is currently off-balance.
"This campaign is all about how man has disturbed the balance of nature. We have used the symbols of yin and yang to portray the same. After having a detailed look at the creative you will see how much hard work has gone into it. We divided the campaign into 3 ads , Land, Water and Air, with each poster addresses issues related to land , water and air. Everything has been hand drawn, painted by hand , scanned , photographed and then retouching done to achieve the desired result."
so explains Dalip Singh, from McCann Worldgroup , New Delhi, India.
You can see here how each ad was hand illustrated, then scanned and cleaned up digitally for printing. Nice illustration job, guys.
