I love this commercial. From the very start Geico was brilliant. "5 minutes can save you 15% or more" on car insurance was the brief. The idea has changed ever since. But the beginning idea was basically all of us do stupid things but we can feel smart when we save on car insurance. Which now that I think about it, is more or less the same strategy as the Holiday Inn Express ads from around the same time.
