Once upon a time...FEMA's National Flood Insurance Program took a step away from the horrific images flood damage and gave us a lullaby instead. I guess they kind of had to go this route.
Even now when I think of the FEMA and its National Flood Insurance Program, I think of an organization showing up to Hurricane Katrina after the fact, being largely ineffective, and wasting a lot of money. Might as well try to turn the page on that with kid gloves, right?
