Set to a nice sanitized cover of Daniel Johnston's "True Love Will Find You In The End" we see a young boy leave his parents house for a date night. While his parents reminisce about the time they met each other and their first date, we see the boy on his date. Nice it of innocent storytelling. My favorite bit is when the boy meets his date's dad and tries to be complimentary on the dad's house only to be cut off with an "I know."
I once went on a date and had to meet the girl's dad which I thought weird because it was a first date. I was wearing combat boots because I was a punk. He called me "G.I. Joe," because he was so funny. He asked what my intentions were with his daughter. I thought I was in a movie. I tell you this, when my daughter gets old enough to brings home a date I am not going to go in for that bullshit intimidation. No, I'm going to straight up fuck with their minds. Mark my words.
