Brief: Create a business card for a diving instructor.
Solution: Manually make cards that have actually been wet to imply that this guy spends most of his time in the water.
Response: Diving instructors classes were fully booked for up to four months in advance.

Nice one, more innovative business cards please! Come on, Its the 21st century, we can do better :)
I for one would like a business card that "phones home". Ex: i leave a bunch of my cards at a convention booth, by the end of the day its gone. When a person with my bizcard takes it to his/her office, my card "phones home" through a wifi connection, telling me which company is interested in my product... That actually sounded better in my head... :P Anyway, the diving card, very nice simple and fun idea!

PermalinkThat's sounds ace in my head too. Finally, I'll find out who keeps grabbing my cards only to use them as note-paper. ;)

PermalinkThat's a good (if not fully thought out yet) idea. Maybe it could use some bluetooth magic? New technology should play a bigger role in business card design than it does. Remember CD-business cards? That was a failure, since they didn't work half the time, but a great idea still.

PermalinkMy first thought was, "Did he drown?"
"We found this on the body we pulled from the river last night. It could be him."

Permalink"Hello, Joe."
"Hello, Frank."
"Any word on that body with the business card fished out of the river yesterday?"
"Yeah. It aint him."
"No?"
"No. It's one of his students."
"The guy on the card?"
"Yeah. The guy on the card's the diving instructor. But that's not the strange thing."
"Yeah?"
"Those cards are made to look wet."
"Made to look wet? To make it look like he spends a lot of time in the water. Pretty smart."
"Yeah. But get this. Divers wear wet-suits."
"Sure. So what?"
"So, where does he keep those business cards?"
