Budweiser - A Clydesdale's Journey (2022) :60 (USA)

The Budweiser brand and their gorgeous Clydesdale horse is back. This scenic 60-second ad shows the horse suffering a bad injury, from trying to clear a barbed wired fence. Cane we give a doggy-acting Oscar to the dog? He seems so genuinely concerned about his horse-friend laying in the barn. The horse ultimately recovers, and gallops on with renewed power.

The director Chloé Zhao, says this is meant to embody “the continued resilience of the people of America.“ It's also poignant as Budweiser sat out last year's super bowl in favor of helping small businesses (and perfecting their alco-competitions to new hard seltzers that have exploded on the market). Zhao's style also lends for “a more bold and raw aesthetic” for the brand moving forward.
