ArtClass Produces SoundCloud’s First-Ever Narrative Film

Production company ArtClass recently produced “The Day Ones,” the first-ever narrative film from SoundCloud, which includes music and live performances from SoFaygo, Charmaine, Otis Kane, Pa Salieu, Lourdiz, Ela Minus, and others. Directed by Jams x Bash, the film was produced as part of First on SoundCloud, a culture-shifting program designed to amplify artists breaking on SoundCloud. The film also marks ArtClass’s first-ever feature. 

“The Day Ones” will be available to stream on Friday, December 17th on firston.soundcloud.com and YouTube.

Synopsis 

A story about friendship, community, growth, and the power of music, “The Day Ones” follows Assata and Christian, two childhood best friends at a major turning point in their lives. Before saying goodbye, they spend their last evening together at their favorite local party in Los Angeles where they encounter various “First on SoundCloud” artists, including gripping live performances of their top tracks.
