"We believe no matter who you are, where you're from, who you love or who you worship we all belong. The world is more beautiful the more you accept." It's interesting that AirBnb spent $5 million on an ad that is only portraits of people. The ad was created in only three days and aired right before the second quarter according to The New York Times who also say that the ad is a comment on the executive order travel ban, but refers to it only obliquely so as not to run afoul of guidelines that say commercial time is not “for viewpoint or advocacy of controversial issues.” The ad is very similar to an AirBnb ad released last year which was a response to the press about hosts discriminating who may use their home.
