Smokey Bear appears to show some middle class people to show them how to safely put out the hot ashes in a fire pit by spraying it down with the garden hose, then stirring and spraying again. The nature show voice over tells us that while Smokey is in his element as the fire prevention representative, he is not so at ease with taking selfies. I love this ad so much, because it explains the need for a fire prevention representative to begin with and that reason is because we are basically clueless about the most important things while being incredibly devoted to the least important things.
